HARROGATE CANDLELIGHTERS
Harrogate Candlelighters was founded to support the Yorkshire Paediatric Oncology and Haematology Children's Cancer Unit at St. James's Hospital, Leeds. We help fund the purchase of equipment for the ward and clinic and finance the Candlelighters Research Laboratory at St. James's. We aid families through the creation of support groups and fund holiday homes on the East coast for patients and their families who need a break during treatment. The generosity and support from individuals and local companies is a vital source of income for which we are very grateful.
Harrogate Candlelighters Events 2008
Circus Ball 2008
Our Annual Ball is one of Harrogate’s top social events and this year we are hosting a fabulously themed Circus Ball at our new venue The Harrogate International Centre on 22nd November 2008. Our celebrity ringmaster is JULIAN CLARY who will guarantee you an evening of circus themed fun and frolics. For booking and more information please contact Sarah Charneca 01423 881889.
This year 108 Fine Art will support the work of The Candleighters Charity, established to “provide information and awareness for children and adolescents with cancer and their families, to advocate for their needs, and to support research so every child survives and leads a long and healthy life.”
