Calum Colvin
Born in Glasgow in 1961, Calum initially studied sculpture at DJCA, Dundee, followed by an MA in Photography at the RCA. He currently works from his studio in Edinburgh and teaches part time as a Professor of Fine Art Photography at the University of Dundee.
Solo exhibitions of his work have been shown internationally and include art galleries in the USA, South America, Canada, Japan, Sweden, Finland, Italy, Gemany, Portugal, Greece and Egypt. In the U.K. he has exhibited at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, The Serpentine, the Barbican, the Victoria & Albert Museum, and at numerous other public art galleries.
He has been awarded numerous honours and in 2001 was awarded and OBE for his contribution to the Visual Arts.
