ALAN DAVIE
60 years on
Now in his 89th year Alan Davie continues to work each day in his studio. Widely considered as one of the Greatest Absract Expressionists of the 1950’s and 60’s this wide ranging exhibition charts the development of his work from the late 1940’s through to his figurative, map like paintings of the 21st century.

Following the success of the artist’s recent retrospective exhibitions we are delighted to be able to host an exhibition of Joash Woodrow’s paintings and drawings capturing images of the growing city of Leeds during the 1960’s – 1980’s alongside portraits of the local people he was compelled to paint.
