Music To My Eyes

An exhibition of rock n’ roll inspired art work and photography featuring Storm Thorgerson, Art Kane and the Godfather of Pop Art Sir Peter Blake.

At 108 Fine Art, 1 Crown Place, Harrogate, HG1 2RY

23rd – 25th July 2010

The exhibition will include limited edition prints featuring the artwork behind some of the most iconic album covers of all time. Sir Peter Blake’s classic design for The Beatles ‘Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ will be among the works available as a signed limited edition silkscreen print. Works from this unique collection will be available to purchase for a limited time only, between Friday 23rd July - Sunday 25th July.

The exhibition will be launched with live music from Liverpool's fabulous psychedelic band ' Wicked Whispers'. Glasgow's most promising new Indie bands 'The Clock' will also be playing live on Sunday 25th July.

60 years on

Now in his 89th year Alan Davie continues to work each day in his studio. Widely considered as one of the Greatest Abstract Expressionists of the 1950’s and 60’s this wide ranging exhibition charts the development of his work from the late 1940’s through to his figurative, map like paintings of the 21st century.
