"Objects speak to us and we delight in the ideas they "call up." Joseph Addison 18th Century 'The Spectator'
Spanning 250 years, a selling exhibition, examining exotic species, mythological creatures, modern mutations and aliens.
From early 18th century prints of wild animals unseen at the time by most Europeans through to new 'Alien' works by John Humphreys and Marta Mattsson's stunningly beautiful insect based jewellery, the exhibition will present a most unlikely group of disparate objects united by their timeless ability to arouse curiosity and ignite the imagination.
