Julian Opie

Born in London, 1958, Opie studied at Goldsmiths College of Art. He exhibited at the Tate Gallery in 1983, with a solo show at the Lisson Gallery shortly afterwards. He works in a wide spectrum of materials, producing work for exhibition as well as commissions for public spaces. He exhibits internationally and his work is held in public collections both in the UK and abroad.
