Space Invader
Born in 1969 Space Invader takes his influence from the 1978 arcade game of the same name. Invader sees his role in street art as part of a game he is playing against the urban landscapes he invades. To date he has 'invaded' thirty six cities around the world, with his infamous logos appearing everywhere from the Hollywood hills to the lapel of Jacques Chirac's suit. Invader's mosaic style is constantly evolving and he is responsible for Rubik Cubism; the artist creating portraits using a mosaic of Rubik's Cube blocks.
